ubuntu: installere på en bestemt partitio n



Hej

Jeg kører ubuntu og har gennem længere tid haft et system kørende med tre partioner på min disk; en stor til data og to til linux installationer. Idéen med de to installationspartitioner er at jeg altid har én jeg bruger og som jeg ved virker, den anden kan jeg prøve andre distroer på og installere den nye ubuntu på hvergang den bliver frigivet.

Anyways, jeg plejer at kikke i fstab for at se hvilken partion der indeholder hvad, inden jeg installerer, men efter ubuntu 9.10 (tror jeg nok) er partitionerne ikke identificeret med /dev/sdaX men et UUID. Over sådanne linjer står der en kommentar, fx:

# /mnt/arch was on /dev/sda3 during installation
UUID=642bce72-7460-4872-b700-7cb9b8d744ae /mnt/arch ext3 defaults 0 2

1) Kan jeg stole på kommentaren er korrekt, i dette tilfælde at /mnt/arch ligger på /dev/sda3? Jeg skal være 100% sikker!

2) Er der en anden måde at spørge systemet om hvilke /dev/sdaX der er mountet hvor eller indeholder hvad, eller på anden måde sikre at jeg installerer på "lege"-partitionern og ikke på den kørende partition?

3) Er det muligt (og i så fald smart/usmart + hvordan) at ændre UUID'et til noget human-readable?
