Klart, men kun hvis du beder eksplicit om det (med use strict; og my).

Det er bedre i Perl6 :-)

Ikke hvad jeg lige kunne se. I PHP er reglen tilsyneladende at variable
der erklæres i funktioner er lokale, ellers er de globale(!)

Min pointe er bare: Der er masser af ting at brokke sig over mht. PHP
som programmeringssprog, men lige dette eksempel på scope er ikke et af
dem (så skal Python, Ruby og Perl5 ihvertfald have samme kritik
samtidig).
