Her er det lidt pænere forhåbentligt
 Jeg har lavet et simpelt build med autoconf og automake. Dette laver som
 default kode med debug information.Jeg vil gerne kunne vælge imellem
release
 building og debug building.På nettet er der en, der foreslår følgende
 tilføjelse til configure.ac som løsning på dette

AC_MSG_CHECKING([whether to > build with debug information])
 AC_ARG_ENABLE([debug],
    [AS_HELP_STRING([--enable-debug],
        [enable debug data generation (def=no)])],
    [debugit="$enableval"],
    [debugit=no])
 AC_MSG_RESULT([$debugit])

 Jeg har imidlertid følgende spørgsmål.

1) Betyder ovennævnte, at jeg kan skrive:
./configure --enable-debug
og at det har samme betydning
 som./configure --enable-debug=no

2) Hvad får jeg, hvis jeg kun  skriver
./configure

3) Efterfølgende skriver jeg make. Hvordan afgør jeg, om  den genereret kode
 jeg sidder tilbage med er debug kode eller ej?

4)Jeg har  hele tiden troet, at hvis man ændrede i en Makefile.am så skulle
man som
 minimum køre
automake
./configure
Jeg har imidlertid opdaget, at jeg godt kunne
 tilføje source filer til Makefile.am og så blot lave make
Hvornår skal jeg  køre automake ?
