lokalisere og fixe segfaults



Hej

Jeg programmerer egentlig ikke i c/c++, men jeg har et opensource projekt som segfault'er for mig. Jeg har sat en masse printf-statements ind og indkredset nogle af crashene, men andre ser ud til at flytte sig når jeg sætter printf-statements ind.

1) Hvad findes der af alternativer til 1.000.000 printf-statements? Jeg forestiller mig noget, evt med GUI, jeg kan køre mit segfaultende program igennem og så få at vide hvor det crasher og evt lidt mere om hvorfor.

2) Kan man overhovedet sige noget generelt om hvad crashet kan skyldes? En af de linjer jeg har indsnævret til at den crasher med visse input ser således ud:
*((t_CKUINT *)(*(reg_sp+1))) = *reg_sp;
Det siger sikkert ikke særligt meget, I know... For mine øjne ligner det noget med at tilgå u-allokeret memory, men jeg gætter kun. Men er der noget jeg særligt skal kikke efter eller være opmærksom på?

NB: Jeg er som sagt meget, meget rusten i c++, og tager dette initiativ i håb om at løse et problem for mig selv og andre brugere af softwaren. Jeg er sansynligvis ude hvor jeg ikke kan bunde, men hvis alt glipper, kan jeg jo bare svømme i land og droppe svømmeturen :-)
