Det er en myte at udviklingen af Linux foregår af "glade nørder". Det er
professionelle folk fra store firmaer, der arbejder fuldtid med
arbejdet. Og generelt så virker det udemærket at have OpenSource
drivere, men der vil vel altid være nogle der "ikke vil arbejde som de
andre". 

Jeg har svært ved at se, hvorfor man skal bremse kernens udvikling, ved
at fryse API'erne, udelukkende for at tilgodese nogle "få" leverandører,
der ikke respekterer den udviklingsmodel Linux står for. 

(nogle vil dog argumentere for at det alligevel går "lidt for hurtigt"
nogle gange :-)
