Jeg har også lavet en del i SDL og det fungerede også fint. Men det kan ikke bruges i dette tilfælde. Selvom SDL gør brug af accelerering så ændre det ikke ved at flere og flere GPU'er ikke er super gode til 2D fordi det er "sparet" væk til fordel for 3D delen på GPU'en.

Iøvrigt ved du om nativ X gør brug af accelerering ?

Ja det er det jeg vil finde ud af. Men du har sikkert ret... men der er mulighed for hardware size,rot, lys og lygte og jeg skal komme efter dig :)

Men det er et meget stort API... stor == tid + mangelende API overblik.
