du kan evt installere noget programmel så cmos ur
opdateres fra systemur.
I Ubuntu er det standard, så normalt skrives
det opdaterede ur til cmos.

manuel kan man prøve med hwclock :

  hwclock --systohc --utc

det vil skrive til hardware clock og i utc.
normalt bruges i unix og linux UTC tid
på hardware clock.
Kun dos/windoze bruger lokal tidszone tid på hardwareur.
(dvs. i dualboot systemer sættes linux til at bruge lokaltid)
