Det er ikke for at spare MB eller GB på nogen harddisk. 

Jeg interesserer mig for funktionsmåde og detaljer i dependency
tree. Jeg kan forestille mig mange situationer, hvor nogen ville
konfigurere et system for sjov eller fx. for at bygge et
custom-system.

Listen over deps (for google-earth) forekom urimeligt lang, og jeg
var bange for, som subject-line antyder, at man somme tider løber
ind i mærkelige bloatede pakkesamlinger hvis man blindt følger
Debian dependencies.

Jeg fandt en saglig hjælp på et forum, hvor en gut "rmtk313" havde
svaret på henvendelser fra brugere, der havde beskrevet samme
problem.

Skulle nogen "komme forbi" her, burde jeg afslutte med at der
faktisk skal være flere symlinks, der er formentlig nogle backwards
compatibility issues:
