Enig at det ser mystisk ud.

Har du fået tilføjet en extern repo på et tidspunkt til /etc/apt/sources.list ?

Hvis jeg søger på http://packages.debian.org/
efter squeeze pakker med google earth finder jeg kun pakken google-earth-stable:

http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/googleearth-package

"utility to automatically build a Debian package of Google Earth"

med flg. deps: bzip2, dpkg-dev, fakeroot, file, wget/curl, x11-common, x11-utils

Og de giver alle mening.
