Nej, det er fordi Google-udviklerne forudsætter lsb-core standard
overholdes, og så har Debian bare tilføjet hele LSB-core, hvilket
naturligt nok omfatter en C-compiler m.v. Når man simulerer install
lsb-core, kommer den med samme lange liste.

Løsningen var at hente en GoogleEarth-6.2 fra Google, og installere
den alene. Jeg prøvde først med en Debian pakke af Earth7 fra
Google, men det var den, der meldte at lsb-core manglede. Da jeg
fjernede GoogleEarth-7 var deps uden fejl og alt OK.

Jeg køre kun 32 bit programmer på den maskine, selv om det er en 64
bit maskine og en kernel, som udnytter 64bit. Jeg var nødt til at
skifte kerne ud manuelt, fordi video-driveren forlangte KMS (Kernel
based mode setting) - jeg kunne måske have fundet en Debian kernel,
men på det tidspunkt havde Debian allerede en gang smadret
boot-strap.
